Professor Tom Wilkinson awarded Chair by University of Southampton

Professor Tom Wilkinson has been awarded Chair of Respiratory Medicine and Honorary NHS Consultant Physician at the University of Southampton and University Hospitals Southampton NHS Foundation Trust.

Tom leads on research into respiratory conditions and improved treatment and care for NIHR CLAHRC Wessex.

His work alongside his team has seen major improvement in the prevention, early diagnosis, treatment and care for people with COPD.
