Sarah joined the CLAHRC team (Theme 6) in July 2015 as Project Manager for the TEPs (Treatment Escalation Plans) project. She started her career in logistics, working in industry for about 15 years, initially in operational management and then increasingly in project management and change management using approaches like Lean thinking to help improve service and quality, and to reduce costs.
In the last few years, she has worked with a variety of public sector organisations in local government and Higher Education mainly as a project manager. She has worked previously for the University on a major HR strategic project as their project manager as well as a number of projects in both faculties and professional service areas. When she is not working for the University, she also serves as a City Councillor in Southampton, and has a keen interest in a number of policy areas including health and social care.
