Specialty Registrar in Public Health
Kate is a Specialty Registrar in Public Health. She originally graduated in Biology from Bristol University, then went on to study Medicine at Barts and the London graduating in 2007. Kate completed her foundation doctor training at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and entered Public Health specialty training in 2010. She completed a Masters in Public Health in 2011 and achieved Membership of the Faculty of Public Health in 2015.
Kate is taking time out of her public health training to work towards an MD supported by NIHR CLAHRC Wessex. Her research area is early identification of chronic liver disease and pathways in to care. She is also interested in the interaction between alcohol and obesity and their multiplicative effects on liver disease severity and outcomes.
