Rosanna Orlando

Research Fellow in Health Economics

Rosanna is a Health Economist Research Fellow at CLAHRC Wessex. She joined CLAHRC in October 2014 having previously worked for HERON Health consultancy and University of Birmingham. Rosanna develops analytical techniques to facilitate resource allocation decisions in health care, commissioned by National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). She was awarded a BSc in Pharmacy from La Sapienza University (Rome) and an MSc in International Health Care Management Economics and Policy from Bocconi University (Milan). Rosanna’s research interests are developing and applying economic evaluation of service delivery, designing and conducting prospective economic evaluation in applied health research, building decision analysis using TreeAge and simulation models, health implementation design and evaluation, resource allocation and conducting model-based economic evaluations.
