Dr Lynn Josephs

Clinical Research Consultant Fellow

Lynn is a Clinical Research Consultant Fellow in the department of Primary Care and Population Sciences, University of Southampton and is based at the Aldermoor Health Centre. Her current research interests focus on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and its management in primary care and she is a lead researcher in COPD studies using the Hampshire Health Record Analytical database (HHRA).
Lynn’s previous research interests centred on asthma and respiratory viral infection and the role of bronchial hyper-responsiveness in asthma formed the subject of her DM thesis. Prior to taking up her current research role in 2012, she was a GP partner in a New Forest general practice for over twenty years.
