Michelle Myall is the Senior Research and Implementation Fellow for the Complexity, Patient Experience and Organisational Behaviour research programme in NIHR CLAHRC Wessex. She is a social scientist with a background in sociology and women's studies. She has worked in research for over twenty years, across a range of academic disciplines including social sciences and history, and in the voluntary sector, and has wide experience of investigating issues relating to health services research and medical sociology.

Michelle's main interests are in the patient experience and the notion of patient-hood. She is also interested in the concept of 'work' within healthcare at both the individual and organisational level. Michelle has a particular interest in gender and women's health.
